Connie Ho

R/GA | Head of Strategy, R/GA China

Connie started in market research and eventually moved into strategic planning with a few international advertising agencies. She has over 18 years of experiences in brand strategy and cross-channel communication planning across categories and markets. Expanding her role into Greater China since 2010 and heading the Business Strategy team in Nissin Food HK & China in 2017, she has developed broader perspectives and experiences in driving effective solutions for businesses.


In early 2019, Connie returned to the agency world joining R/GA China as Head of Strategy, where she works closely with innovators in the network to deliver business and marketing transformations for brands in the region. Previously working with clients like J&J, HSBC, Nikon, Carlsberg, GSK and Shell. Connie is a 3-time Effie winner along with 1 Cannes Silver and 1 Bronze Lions wins. Her current clients at R/GA include, Nike, Google, Vans, General Motors and Schroders.

Toni started her career as a developer and is deeply passionate about building, experimenting and learning; and women in tech. She is a custodian of culture within AWS and a trusted voice of innovation at Amazon. She remains a staunch advocate for the role a culture of innovation can play in transforming businesses.

 

Toni leads the Digital Innovation Program in Amazon Web Services across the ANZ region and was recently appointed to a specialist position focused on workforce 2.0 in a post-Covid world to ensure our people continue to operate in the Day 1 culture and mindset, regardless of where they work.

Tuomas Peltoniemi

R/GA | EVP, Managing Director, R/GA APAC

With over 20 years in the digital business, Tuomas works in the intersection of technology, strategy, creative and business. As EVP, Managing Director for APAC, Tuomas oversees R/GA's business across Asia-Pacific, and consults clients on digital transformation.


Tuomas was featured twice by Campaign Asia as 40 under 40 in Asia, and awarded as Asia Pacific Digital Network Agency Head of the Year in 2017 by Campaign Asia. He is a regular speaker at marketing events, and lectures for MBA programs at universities such as INSEAD and SMU, on various topics around digital marketing.


Tuomas is also a startup advisor, mentor, and board member, and an early investor in the web3, metaverse and cryptocurrency industries.

Robert Sawatzky

Haymarket Media | Head of Content, Campaign Asia-Pacific

Robert Sawatzky is head of content at Haymarket Media’s industry-leading marketing & communication publication, Campaign Asia-Pacific.

Previously in Hong Kong and now based in Singapore, he leads the Campaign editorial teams across the region, working closely with editors and contributors in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo and Mumbai, as well as the UK.


As a keen observer of global and regional marketing trends. Robert is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry events throughout Asia and at Cannes Lions on issues related to advertising, marketing, creativity, data and media strategies.


Prior leadership roles at other major media organizations included CNBC (Singapore and Hong Kong), CBC News Network (Toronto) and CTV (Toronto).

Dean Sciole

General Motors | Marketing Director

Dean Sciole is the Marketing Director for GM Premium Import in China. Prior to that, he served as the Marketing Director for Cadillac in China. Both dream jobs combine his three loves—China, cars and technology.


Dean trained at Saatchi & Saatchi as a writer, planner, and ECD. He is married with twin 3-year olds that remind him daily what’s most important.

Mike Wente

Verizon | VP Creative Marketing Group

Mike Wente is Vice President, Creative Marketing Group and leads 140, Verizon’s in-house creative team. Named for its street address in Tribeca, the 140 team is a diverse group of more than 200 people working across all aspects of the brand, including retail, digital, social, keynotes and photography. The team most recently helped deliver the opening keynote for the Verizon CEO at the first-ever virtual CES with AR/VR all on an XR stage. Mike has also helped with various campaigns from the iPhone 12 launch, to Super Bowl LV and creating a virtual version of The Met through AR to demonstrate the impact and power of Verizon 5G.
